Windstar Cruises is a cruise line known for its high quality food, it is one of the reasons why the company has so many repeat cruisers. That same delicious food is available to eat in your cabin via room service 24 hours a day. Unlike a lot of cruise lines room service with Windstar is included in your cruise fare meaning there are no surcharges or delivery fees, which is in stark contrast to P&O Cruises who charge per item with a delivery fee on top! The food available from room service differs based on time of day, so in this guide I will cover all of the different Windstar Cruises room service menus.
These room service menus are the same across all of the Windstar Cruises fleet. Bon appétit and happy cruising!
Breakfast
Whenever I go on a cruise I always opt to have breakfast in my cabin, delivered of course by room service. Personally I find this makes the mornings for relaxed and leisurely. Even though the Windstar ships are small there can be an early morning rush in the Verandah cafe, which can be avoided by having breakfast in the cabin. All of the a la carte breakfast options and most of what you will find at the breakfast buffet you can be ordered through room service so I don’t understand why so many people still head to the Verandah cafe for breakfast.
To order breakfast you can call room service in the morning or leave a menu card outside on your cabin door the night before. Windstar are very flexible, my menu cards often feature special requests or customisations. For example I love a bowl of fresh berries in the morning but this isn’t an option on the menu so I just write it on the card and the wonderful crew always deliver a bowl of raspberries, strawberries and blueberries. Great for having with a waffle or pancakes!
The breakfast menu is available from 6:00 to 11:00 AM.
All Day Menu
The all day menu is served from 12:00pm (Noon) until 10 PM at night.

Even though it isn’t on the Overnight menu it is possible to ask for chocolate cake from the All-Day menu, a lovely late night snack to have whilst watching a movie.
Amphora
One of the great things about Windstar is that between the hour of 19:00 PM and 21:00 PM you can order all of the food from Amphora (the main dining room) to your cabin through room service. The Amphora menu is available on the smart TV system or the Windstar Wayfinder (accessible on your phone and laptop when connected to the ship’s Wifi), or alternatively you can always call room service who will deliver a copy of the menu from the restaurant.
Unlike the room service menus, most of the Amphora menu changes daily. Here are a few menus from a recent Windstar Cruise I took on the Star Legend.
